Michael Tippett, CEO & Co-founder
A two time Emmy nominee and successful entrepreneur for almost two decades, Tippett is recognized an as international expert on early stage business innovation and emerging media models. As a speaker, he has presented through out Europe, Asia and North America. He was most recently the Executive Director of GrowLab, an technology start up accelerator in Vancouver. He also donates his time to run Vancouver’s Startup Weekend.

Marc Baumgartner, CPO & Co-founder
Marc Baumgartner is the co-founder and design director of Codename, a Vancouver-based design studio specializing in experience design for web and spatial environments. Over the past 15 years Marc has been involved as a designer and project manager on projects ranging from Olympic games facilities and large architectural projects to custom residential and retail interiors, web design, public art and furniture design. Prior to starting Codename Design Marc was the design director and VP of Product at the user-generated news website NowPublic.com. During his tenure NP was named a Time Magazine Top 50 Website of the Year and twice nominated for an Emmy Award for interactive design.
Eric Burin des Roziers, CTO & Co-founder
A technical co-founder of TripAdvisor.com, Eric has over 14 years of software development, architecture and management experience that includes high traffic consumer websites, complex enterprise b2b solutions and interactive analytics applications. For the last six years, Eric has been with Model N, the leader in revenue management, an emerging enterprise application category, where he holds the position of Senior Director & Architect of Product Development.
Kul Wadhwa, Co-Founder
Kul is the Wikimedia Foundation’s Head of Mobile and Business Development. He has been with Wikimedia since January 2008. Prior to his role at Wikimedia, Kul was at Stanford University, where he was the business and partnerships manager. He has more than a decade of management and business development experience, including senior roles at a variety of high-tech start-ups such as CyberTrust Japan, B.U.G., and Pangea2, where he worked on deals throughout Asia, Europe and the Americas. Kul has also done economic research at the nonprofit global policy think tank the RAND Corporation, and has worked in TV (NBC) and in the videogame and digital animation industry (Satelight, Japan). Kul has an M.A. in international policy studies and a B.A. in political science, both from Stanford. He speaks Japanese, as well as some Portuguese and Spanish.
