Canada’s Ayoudo goes hyper-hyper-local | AIM Group

A write up on Ayoudo from the AIM Group.  AIM is a consultancy that has been called the ‘bible of the classifieds industry’:

The site itself is not particularly Craigslist-like – it’s much more organized and Web 2.0-looking, and its interface is closer to a help wanted site like Fiverr.

Normally we don’t give such a spotlight to just-launching startups, but Ayoudo has some impressive chops. CTO Eric Burin des Rosiers was the co-founder and CTO of TripAdvisor and Marc Baumgartner and Michael Tippett helped build Canada’s NowPublic, a successful crowd-sourced news platform.
