About The Company
Ayoudo is Vancouver’s newest startup. The company has global ambitions with teams in San Francisco, New York, Paris and Hyderabad but deep roots in Vancouver. The company is headed by Michael Tippett. Tippett has spent 20 years building startups in the city. Recently he was the Executive Director at GrowLab and prior to that he founder and built NowPublic, which was the largest crowdsourced news site in the world.
But the team behind Ayoudo is more than Tippett. It includes a global group of advisors and co-founders including Kul Wadhwa, the head of mobile for Wikipedia and Eric Burin des Rosiers who was the technical co-founder of TripAdvisor. In addition, the group includes Marc Baumgartner, former lead of the Emmy nominated product team behind NowPublic.
In 2 short months The Company has developed a web and iphone app that could help write the next chapter in social media. Like NowPublic reinvented the news business, TripAdvisor redefined travel and Wikipedia transformed the way we create knowledge, Ayoudo has the potential to play a defining role the next generation of social media.
