Read the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
The community guidelines are a friendly summary, but you are also expected to read and abide by the Ayoudo Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Be Yourself
Your fellow Ayoudoans would like you to be yourself, and not anyone else. We’re all trying to do a better job of knowing our neighbours, so we expect you will represent yourself truthfully. If you say you are good at something, we will believe you; if you help us, we will rate you, so be honest about your skill level. Don’t share your log in info with anyone, or reply from someone else’s account.
Follow Through
If you ask for help and someone commits to helping you, show up when you say you will. If you offer help, be true to your word. We’ve all endured the flakefest of want ads, but it’s up to all of us to make Ayoudo different. These are your neighbours, and they have busy lives too. Pay promptly and pass on recommendations for a job well done.
Be Good
Don’t try to do naughty or illegal things to Ayoudo or through Ayoudo, or to your fellow Ayoudoans. If we find you doing things that contravene the laws of the beautiful province of British Columbia, Canada or even things that offend common decency, you will be barred from use of the site. We’re serious.
Things can change at anytime
Ayoudo is not a static object, but a flexibile community, and as such terms of use may change from time to time. If the rules change, we’ll let you know here, and if you continue to use Ayoudo, you are bound by those new terms.
Use Good Judgement
Ayoudo connects people who need help with people who can help, but you’re expected to be your own judge as to someone’s character. We can’t determine for you your own comfort level. We are not guaranteeing the quality of the work provided or vouching for users, so use your own judgement. We aren’t liable for your actions, or the actions of others.
